Parties

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are between you ("User") and Annapurna Labs ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of Keel. By creating an account or using Keel, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service description

Keel is a personal expense tracker. It lets you manually log income and expenses, set a periodic budget, and review your spending. Keel does not connect to your bank, read your SMS messages, or access any financial account on your behalf. All data entry is manual or by your own voice.

Account and security

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under your account. Magic-link sign-in tokens are single-use; do not forward them to anyone. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

Acceptable use

You may use Keel only for your own personal financial tracking. You may not: (a) use Keel for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any other user's account or data; (c) reverse engineer, decompile, or extract Keel's source code; (d) use automated tools to scrape or bulk-access the service.

Your data

You retain ownership of all expense data you enter. We do not sell or share your financial entries. You may export or delete your data at any time from Settings. See our Privacy Notice for full details.

Intellectual property

All software, design, copy, brand identity, and other materials in Keel are the exclusive property of Annapurna Labs. © 2026 Annapurna Labs. All rights reserved. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use the Keel name, logo, or any proprietary materials.

Pricing and payment

Keel offers a free trial period. After the trial, a one-time lifetime purchase is required to continue using the service. There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges. Payments are processed by Razorpay. See our Refund Policy for refund terms.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Keel available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We may update these Terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.

Disclaimer of warranties

Keel is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that Keel is error-free or that any data stored is immune from loss. You are solely responsible for maintaining your own backups using the export feature.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Annapurna Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Keel, including any loss of financial data. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for Keel in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India. We encourage you to contact us first; most issues can be resolved quickly.
